Dot NET Domains

When the Dot NET generic domain name extension was first established in 1985, along with the first domains on the World Wide Web, it was planned to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure firms. Considering the fact that there were no particular prerequisites about the usage of the top-level extension, though, .NET domains were acquired and used for various purposes and by loads of people. This domain extension is a perfect alternative to .COM, notably if the desired domain with the latter TLD is not free for registration.

Registering a .NET domain with our company is easy and takes merely a couple of minutes, in view of the fact that we are partners with an ICANN-approved registrar. You can get such a domain for an interval between one and ten years, or, if you already own a domain, you can move it over to our firm and we will renew it once the transfer process is completed. Transfers are available for all domains, which are at least sixty days old, given that they are not locked and that you have acquired an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures set up by the Registry against unauthorized transfers. You can easily change the WHOIS details of the domain through your Control Panel interface, or, if you don't wish this info to be visible at all, you can order a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to get your real contact info.

The .NET domain extension supports internationalized names, so you can take a decision whether you want to aim at a particular country or territory using a domain name in the regional language, or the global web community – using a generic English name.
